Pregnant With Period

There have been many debates over the years as to whether or not a woman can conceive while she is on her menstrual cycle. Some people will say yes, while others will say that it is not possible. The simple fact of the matter is that a woman is able to conceive while she is on her monthly cycle. Of course, the chances of this are very low, but they are still there. The reason for this is because the hormonal balances, length of cycles and many other factors will come into play with this.
Let’s take a look at some facts. An egg is released prior to the woman’s period, during ovulation. Of course, it is important here to remember that even if a woman has per period each month, she may not have in fact released an egg each month. Not every woman ovulates every month. Now, since there are many women who end up putting themselves under extreme stress levels, for one reason or another, vaginal bleeding can take place, which is not the regular period, but is typically mistaken for it. Also, it is important to know that ovulation can occur just before the period bleeding has stopped or shortly after it has stopped, especially in women that do not have regular cycles. Since sperm can generally live in the body of the woman for up to seven days, it is safe to say that yes, a woman can indeed become pregnant from having unprotected intercourse during her period.
Those who are trying to conceive might just want to make sure that they are having as much intercourse as possible. Of course, with the time we are in, it might be difficult to have intercourse every day, so learning when the women is ovulating is important as this can be the time where you focus as much attention as possible. Whether you are going to be able to figure out just when you are ovulating or you need to purchase a test to determine for you, it is something that you are going to want to do. This is because you will be increasing your chances of becoming pregnant sooner rather than later.
While you are trying to determine just when it is that you are ovulating and while you are trying to conceive, you are going to want to go ahead and take action to make sure that you are setting your body up for conception. Stop all smoking and drinking. Start taking prenatal vitamins if possible and make sure that you are doing all that you can in order to reduce the level of stress that you are dealing with. Many people have found that too high levels of stress can actually prevent them from becoming pregnant as quickly as they would like.
